I’m Teaching at Fodder School 5 — and You’re Invited!

Every now and then, something comes along that makes you stop and think:
Wow! This is a moment.

That’s exactly how I felt when I got the news:
I’ve been selected as one of the teachers for Fodder School 5 and this year’s Fodder Challenge 2025!

It’s a full-circle moment in the best way.

I’ve taken part in past Fodder Challenges, and I’ve been a student in Fodder School myself. I know just how magical and inspiring this community can be—the creative energy, the generosity, the sheer joy of making.

Now, I get to step into the teacher’s role and share that same spark with others.

What is Fodder School?

If you’re new to it, Fodder School is a year-long online program dedicated to mixed media and collage art. It brings together artists from around the world—new, seasoned, and everything in between—to explore, experiment, and play.

And it all begins with a burst of creativity in 01 October: the 5th Annual Fodder Challenge.

This is your invitation to join me for a special kick-off to Fodder School 5:

We’ll explore mixed media and collage techniques you can try right away—no matter your experience level.

And you know how much I love texture and all things tactile? The lesson I’ve created for this challenge and Fodder School completely embodies what I love: layers, mark-making, paper play, and joyful mess-making. There is plenty of play and sparks of inspiration for you to take these lessons to make them your own.

Teaching in Fodder School is not just about sharing techniques—it’s about inviting you to reconnect with your creativity.

Whether you’re someone who’s just getting back into art or someone who never stopped, this is a place to experiment, play, and surprise yourself.

Honestly? The Fodder Challenge was one of the best decisions I made for my own creative practice. It helped me explore new directions and connect with artists around the world. It’s a great way to get a taste of what the rest of the Fodder School 5 is.
