Routines and the Everyday

Winter_playtime

It has been a while since the last blog post. Life has been full!

Kids are in their last term of kindergarten before grade school. Finding the ‘right’ local school is on our to-do list. International schools in Shanghai are not affordable.

iPads, iPhones, Lego and drawings/art has taken over our household. We seem to always have a thing for routine. Weekends are not complete without a cup of coffee at M&S (Marks & Spencers) or lunch at Coco House, a Japanese curry fast food chain or picking up mail from the PO box. We certainly do a lot of walking around Shanghai.

Samuel has been surfing online for Lego stuff!!! (I only found out recently that I now have lots of Lego sets in my Amazon shopping cart!) He has been checking out videos on YouTube. We also got into the Lego Digital Designer application we downloaded for free.

Audrey has been doing a lot of drawings, playing with Lego and doing a couple piano lessons.

In a few days, we will be off to my hometown in the Philippines. Excited to show the kids where I grew up, where I went to school and eating local food. Something for them to experience.

Cannot wait to get out of the cold and damp Spring weather in Shanghai.
