This might now become a regular series in my blog… as I complete (I hope) my 500 colored pencils from Felissimo. A couple weeks ago I received in the mail my equally awesome set called Wanderlust. The name alone resonates me and my love for travel! So I added coloured pencil drawings or shadings into a couple watercolour paintings I did for the DoodleWash prompts. Aren’t these names so cool? I love how these quirky names add a touch of personality to each colour. Hard to pick which is my favourite colour from this set because I love every colour! These are now available in Shanghai from a chain store called…

Here’s the fourth, and final, installment of my #the100dayproject. Was a bit late in finishing especially with the unplanned and planned trips during the 100 days. But it feels great that I finished though I am planning on continuing these watercolor exercises. It’s been part of my outlet and have truly enjoyed exploring the different styles and techniques. Thank you for looking.

Have you joined this year’s #The100DayProject? If so, how are you getting along with your respective projects? Mine was going well until I had some family emergency and then had to do a lot of catch ups. But I’m happy I got to the halfway mark in spite of the crazy days at work. So here is a look at 25 of my mini watercolour exercises. Thank you for looking. SaveSave SaveSaveSaveSave

Last week, I received a surprise present in the mail. It was a set of the Felissimo coloured pencils, more specifically the FUN set. Oh boy! I was giddy and excited to try these out. I actually knew of these Felissimo coloured pencils years and years ago when I walked into the shop in Beijing. Back then, I couldn’t get myself to buy any because there is about 500 colours to choose from and being a designer, it is never easy to decide on which colours to get! I’ve used these together with my watercolour art. And I love the way it turned out! Eeeks! And can I tell you…

Sharing my pages for the GetMessy Messy List part 4. Somehow this set of prompts got me quite inspired to do quickly (unfortunately it took me a while to get this post out). I think it is also to do with having a smaller area to play with and getting most background done before putting on the finishing touches on each spread. Here are my spreads: Since I wrote this list for the prompt, new trips have suddenly come up which I am excited about. One of this is to Tokyo and another to Wuxi, China. Thank you for looking.

This blogpost is way way way overdue. My pages for the Get Messy Messy Lists #3 and #4 were done some time ago but somehow time went in a blur and kept forgetting to take photos of them for this post. So finally, I’m sharing my Messy List #3 here below. Thank you for looking.

So far so good with keeping up with the Get Messy art journal Messy Lists challenge. I’m enjoying the time spent in the evenings to make my pages. One thing I have noticed though is that I realised I spent more time than needed on these pages… I seem to have reverted back into “over thinking” things. But that is changing on the 3rd round, for sure! So here is what I made for the second set of prompts: Thank you for looking.
