    Planner Pages

    August 21, 2018 / 2 Comments

After a lot of consideration, I decided to turn back on the Downloads page of my blog so as to share the different printable pages I have offered before for different types of planner pages. A while back, I have disabled any downloads because my design has been plagiarized and been sold for profit! So once again, all these files are FREE FOR PERSONAL USE only. DO NOT RESELL OR PROVIDE DOWNLOADS WITHOUT MY CONSENT. THANK YOU.

    December Daily 2017

    February 15, 2018 / No Comments

Another year and another December Daily done! Cannot believe that this is my 9th year of documenting our December days. I love looking at these albums on the shelf in varying thickness… I’m actually running out of space now (LOL!). Anyways, this album was long done back in December, I just never got the chance to take photos and video due to the bad weather and not having the right setup. So I am finally sharing my album. I also made a video taking you through the entire album. [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KLg6t7Z2s8&w=560&h=315%5D Thank you for looking. SaveSave SaveSave

DIY + Recycled Watercolour Set Tutorial

    November 18, 2016 / 2 Comments

These days my head is filled with wanting to get more watercolours as part of my EDC (everyday carry) but haven’t been able to find the ‘right’ one apart from the Peerless watercolors I already have in my Traveler’s Notebook. Until I found these small clear containers on Taobao, but the coordinating case for it was still too thick to use. And then lightbulb idea (!) when the phone protective film that I purchased came with a very slim plastic case. Immediately I tried putting the containers inside and they fit perfectly inside! Yippee! It’s always great when you can combine a DIY and recycling something at the same time. This is the…

Documenting | Week in the Life

    August 1, 2011 / 3 Comments

Wow! What a week! The big full week is over. The Week in the Life project by Ali happened at exactly the same time. A big challenge to juggle all the documenting with crazy work schedule, but looking back at the week, it was actually great. The project allowed me to document one of the rare sort of week we have had so far.

    Quilt for Penny Finished

    July 30, 2010 / No Comments

Made a lap quilt for our housekeeper as she’s just moved to a new home and we thought it would be nice to give her a housewarming present. Managed to finish this quite quickly. Maybe because I didn’t struggle with the quilting on this as I did on the other quilts… or maybe because I was inspired.

    Sewing and Baking Cakes

    July 11, 2010 / No Comments

Yes, a lot of sewing and baking going on around here. Taking advantage of the yucky wet and humid weather to do some sewing. I wish this ‘plum season’ will pass, somehow this year it feels quite drawn out… So in a way, I do not really feel ‘summer’ in Shanghai as we are missing the sun shiny days we used to have. Okay, it can get very hot here but compared to this icky weather, I wouldn’t mind it at all.

    Working on Quilts

    June 21, 2010 / No Comments

Lately it’s been a bit crazy with stuff to do at home. Been alternating between quilting and sewing clothes. Yesterday, finally gotten down to basting our huge ‘Anniversary Quilt’. The quilt top and backing were all done a couple months ago but just wasn’t inspired to work on it until late yesterday afternoon.
