Just thought I’d revisit the post I had a couple years ago where I shared how I took notes for Week-in-the-Life with Evernote. I found this easy to update wherever I was as my notes were sync via iPhone, iPad or desktop. So I’m sharing here a download link a ‘template’ you can import into Evernote, if you are using one. Wow! What a week! The big full week is over. The Week in the Life project by Ali happened at exactly the same time. A big challenge to juggle all the documenting with crazy work schedule, but looking back at the week, it was actually great. The project allowed me to document one of the rare sort of week we have had so far.

Yesterday morning, I finally got around to taking photo of my travel album. Since I’ve finished it a few weeks ago after our trip, I’ve been flipping through it over and over again. I so so so LOVE this album because it has allowed me document the trip easily and made the trip even more memorable.

End of last year, I found out about Project Life and the more I read about it, the more I got interested and after several attempts at ordering a copy, I started to get frustrated and decided to try out the digital version instead. But somehow wasn’t simply satisfied and the more I thought about it, the more I wanted the actual kit. So had to ask my uncle in California to help forward to me the Amazon order I placed.

Back in January, been thinking of something I could make for my family as a little Valentine’s present. And then voila! I found Freckle Photoblog via Ali Edwards’ blog and instantly I knew it was the perfect project for someone as busy as me.

All done… I’ve managed to finally find time to take photos and upload them on Flickr. See them here. Another great experience with the project. The only part that took long was the way to bind my album. I started with a 2-ring binder which became too small, then settled on big rings but still somehow did not seem right. Finally, settled on the leather strings I’ve had in my stash for a while now.

Just managed to finish my December Daily album foundation pages in time! Last year, everything was made impromptu and with no defined design direction as I didn’t think I was going to be able to do until the last minute even though I designed some template pages.

It has indeed been some time since I managed to blog just about anything. For some reason when December started, we got swamped with work which is great of course, as it made up for the very slow beginning of 2009. So I’ve been trying to find little pockets of time in between work and weekend with the kids to do something. Our Christmas presents for the family unfortunately still has to go out! It’s awful and I’m fortunate my family has been quite forgiving about the lateness.
